Have you guys heard of the energy saving program call "wrap" (weatherization Residential Assistance Partnership. It helps people saving money and energy all year long by reducing their energy bills and making their homes more energy efficient. And of course like in almost every program like that you have to be qualified to be part of it.
I signed up for a it last summer and my application got accepted. I was very happy when i got the call said that i was qualified. When they came to my house, they changed all the light bulbs to energy saving ones, the shower heads, the faucets, and they left us 4 brand new lamps. And the best part about it is that i am qualified for a brand new refrigerator. I was so happy i told all my friends and now i am telling you:

Here are some tips for you:
Use compact fluorescent light bulbs
Air dry dishes instead of using your dishwasher's drying cycle
Turn off your computer and monitor when you're leaving home or they are not in use
Lower the thermostat on your hot water heater to 120 degrees F
Take short showers instead of long baths
Wash only full loads of dishes and clothes.
